I love that you guys enjoyed it so much. Gran Torino is one of those movies that'll live on forever in American culture. There truly were more men in america like Walt than not like Walt in that generation, especially if they served in the military, there just really isn't anymore with everything being "woke" and "accepted". It's making our people weak and that's all I'll say on that.

The Frat Boys were not happy with their portrayal and sued the film makers. I believe they received some grief from their school. That said, they were the least objectionable of the people who let their guards down and revealed their not so hidden prejudices. They were stupid drunk kids. The others were older adults who really should know better.

I absolutely love this movie and I saw the first and this one's awesome as well but the best thing about this one compared to 1986 are GRAPHICS. THE BLIND IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND TOM CRUISE IS SO FUNNY IN THIS 😂

Americans love to blow up stuff😂😂 I think they were setting off firecrackers and they were burning some figures that looks like King George.. the Continental Americans tarred and feathered the Loyalists to the Royals 😂😂😂😂 it didn't kill them but it hurt like hell taking it off. Lol Do you know the toy party is still in existence in Great Britain today? They're supposed to be the conservative party but they don't act it.. they're all warmongers- just like some American politicians as well and it doesn't matter if the Republicans or democrats but the Democrats are really for war... Only some Republicans are BUT ENOUGH TO BE A PAIN IN THE REAR JOE BIDEN AND THE US SENATE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE COMMITTEE TODAY STARTED IT WHERE GIRLS AGES 18 TO 26 OR 27 HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE DRAFT!!!!😡😡 What?? If girls and women want to go into the military that is fine whether it's active duty or the reserves but women should not be forced to register for the draft because they have the babies!!! See, is millions are sent off to the war and as many women get killed.. it's going to lower the birth rate because it doesn't take as many men as it does women to have the babies.. it might not exactly be Christian but one man is capable of getting multiple women pregnant in one year which is why I don't think women should be forced to be drafted. Yet, being a sniper is really really hard and most of them don't last very long on the front. During World war 2, the Soviet Union could not get it together which is why they have so many casualties but they had some women who were the best snipers..

The Continental Army was when the USA was a colony of Great Britain. In July 1976 on July 4th Thomas Jefferson wrote and signed the declaration of Independence from Great Britain... Well let's just say that at first the Americans were rebels but that was for a couple years prior and by 1776 and they declared war and we were already fighting them anyway . The British had the best military in Navy in the world and somehow we miraculously beat them with a little bit of help from the French because they gave us cannons and guns. The Americans did raid the heck out of the British garrisons installed all kinds of weapons and cannons... There was a guy from Scotland who moved to America and his name was John Paul Jones- no kidding and he was not the bass player with the rock band Led Zeppelin.. this Scotsman became known as the father of the Navy and he gave the British hell in their territory.. he took a ship with about a hundred or so men over to Britain and he was blowing up their garrisons and stealing whatever he could.. he would take a couple guys are sure with him so they wouldn't have too many and get caught and then they would run back to the ship and go off somewhere else.. the Americans just were the biggest pain in the butt for the British more than anything.. He went to Scotland and blew up stuff and then took the ship over to France and it was broken so he had to get a new boat to go back to America.. haha!! After causing so much havoc in Britain King George the third call the Navy back from America to get back to Britain because everything was getting blown up😂😂...... Americans were just crazy and I think we still are. There's a little bit of crazy in all of us but the Battle of Yorktown was it in the British were just sick of Americans by then so they surrendered and left but the treaty was not signed until 1783. This was the Continental Army just prior to the revolutionary war and it was nasty..

Guys, the joke about the Irish comes from the fact that when the Irish first immigrated to America, they were extremely poor, scrappy, feisty and aggressive, and for this they developed a reputation for being combative and unfit for civilized society. That was a long time ago, and now, they have lifted themselves out of the poverty they fled in Europe and are a prosperous part of American society but at the time they were thought to be hostile and ill-mannered. As you can surely understand now, the comedy of Blazing Saddles was to satirize racism in all forms and since they had already made fun of every conceivable ethnic group in America they would have been remiss to forget about the Irish hahahaha

The Continental Army was one of the first Militia's formed by colonial American's that began the revolution against ownership of the king.

Those are single shot rifles. They have to reload every time. No repeater rifles until years later. Most learn how to reload as they are running.

Protestants Christians don't believe in confessing to or receiving forgiveness thru a priest. We believe that we approach God not thru a man but directly thru belief in Jesus Christ God's Son, who sacrificed Himself for man's sins. Walt also sacrificed himself for others. Significantly when he died he was in a ;crucifixion pose, like Jesus when he was crucified on the cross.

GREAT reaction to a classic movie! Well done! Walt was a classic old-school American character. There were a LOT of them before all this woke/PC stuff. It's very heart rending the way he winds up connecting with Tao and Sue. GREAT acting and excellent writing makes this a classic! My dad was a WWII veteran. That generation was a breed apart. Most of them were raised through the Great Depression, then thrust into WWII. Their lives were hard. The lives of those before them were even harsher. My dad's father was raised fatherless after his dad (my great-grandfather) was driven out of the home by his wife's brother...an often angry dock worker. As a result, my grandfather was sent to work on the Panama Canal at 15 years old. His family was back in New York City. It's easy for us today to forget the tough times that forged those tough men the world over. GREAT reaction video! You both have great personalities for these reviews.

When you start dip you get a strong buzz, but the buzz lessens over time. Dip is very addictive probably more addictive than cigarettes. It also can cause mouth cancer and loss of teeth.
